Onigilly [Oh-KNEE-ghee-lee] is traditional Japanese food made with brown rice and gourmet filling wrapped with seaweed.

Writings dating far back as the 17th century states that during war many Samurais stored rice balls, Onigilly, wrapped in bamboo eaves as a quick lunchtime meal.
